Tango Jose Moises is an unusual duet inspired by a pair of good friends from the composer’s school who had both won lead seats in the Norwalk-La Mirada (California) District Middle School Honor Band: Jose on tuba and Moises on clarinet.  This humorous tango was written so they could publicly celebrate their achievement and display their skills at their final middle school concert  This version presents the tango for your saxophones, working equally well with an alto or tenor saxophone paired with a baritone saxophone.
